5 Spring Wedding Guest Dresses for Under $50 from Express

Happy Monday and happy Memorial Day! I hope you are enjoying your time off and getting ready to cook some good ol' BBQ for this holiday! I can taste the rib and sausage right now LOL! As you can see, I am already hungry, but we need to get right to this blog post so that I can get to the ribs and sausage. Let's get right into today's blog post shall we!

This past weekend I attended a wedding for my neighbors' daughter. Wedding season is here, and I know this is a great time to get your looks together for a great price while being stylish on a budget. I wore an amazing dress from the retail store Express, and I am just excited to share 5 Spring wedding guest dresses for under $50 from Express with you. Not only can they be worn to a wedding, but you can also wear them for a date night or other special occasions. My motto is building a purposeful wardrobe that you can wear for any season or any occasion multiple ways. Versatility is key!

Look 1:

This first look is a mesh style floral maxi dress. I personally bought this dress myself and it fits like a glove and so soft. The material is mesh and has great stretch as well. I paired the look with minimal gold accessories because the dress is the moment. I added a baby blue clutch to compliment the color of the blue florals, and all other accessories are gold. Look 2:

The second look is another floral moment, but on a lighter note. This dress is perfect for those outdoor weddings just in case it is super hot like it is here in Houston. This is another mesh material dress that is breathable and spaghetti straps for those hot weddings. Minimal accessories are a must as well since the dress is the moment but just adding a pop of color with the bracelet and clutch to compliment the colors in the dress. Look 3:

The third look is a long formal dress with removable puff sleeves. I don't know about you, but I love a good off the shoulder moment. It feels sexy showing a little skin, but not too revealing you know. Mama gotta have a life too (LOL)! I love the blush pink moment because it is so Spring and feminine. I decided to create a monochromatic look and adding pearls for a classy touch. You can also pair this blush pink color with baby blue, white, silver, green, and of course the classic black. Look 4:

The fourth look is for my ladies who are a little into darker colors. This is another dress that I personally bought for myself and wore to the wedding. This was the style I was going for but waited last minute to find shoes and accessories, so I opted for black. I styled the look by mixing metals because I want to show you that it is ok and fun to do. The color of the dress is a statement, so I opted for a gun metal gray heel to keep the attention upward. The mixed metal earrings and clutch are a great accessory to add the mixed metal glam touch. This is a satin material and is best to wear for indoor weddings. Look 5:

The final look for Spring wedding guest dresses for under $50 from Express is a classic black halter dress. You can never go wrong with black any time of the year. Plus, if black is your go to, then this dress is for you. This dress definitely deserves a glam moment, so the accessories need their moment. My favorite accessory of this look is the fur bag because it adds glam but fun. If you do not have anything fur in your wardrobe, I definitely suggest that you should add something ASAP!
